Aged only 11, Vancouver born actress Elle McKinnon is set to make her feature film debut next month, appearing alongside Owen Wilson, Julia Roberts and Jacob Tremblay in the US family blockbuster Wonder.

McKinnon plays Charlotte in the hotly anticipated comedy-drama, which centres on a young boy with a facial birth defects trying to fit in at a new school. In addition to her upcoming big screen debut, the young actress has also landed a role as Mae Skelter in Audience Network’s TV show Hit the Road, the first episode of which aired last week, and appeared in TV film A Christmas to Remember and sci-fi TV series Travelers last year.
